Founded in 2020, Field & Ford LLC is a boutique consulting firm that provides
professional development and business skills training for remote professionals and established entrepreneurs through our proprietary programs. We also provide executive level consulting and strategic planning services.
Jovon Brumfield
Jovon "Jeaux" Brumfield is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Lagniappe Business Services, LLC. She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and holds a B.S. in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship as well as a Leadership Development Certificate from The University of New Orleans.
Jovon's professional career spans over 20 years in the areas of business administration, accounting, human resources and insurance. She has over 10 years of executive level experience, having served as Director of Human Resources at Harrah's New Orleans, New Beginning Schools, The Providence House, and Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana. Her professional career provided countless firsthand experiences that prove how critical PEOPLE are to any company or organization. Jovon has a proven track record of coaching leaders through mindset shifts and thus created her signature program Internal Impact to focus on mindset, strategy, and systems for their teams or business.
A Certified Behavioral Specialist (DiSC, Predictive Index, PACE Palette), Jovon's approach is rooted in behavioral analysis and she has a proven track record of coaching leaders through mindset shifts and analyzing people and situations to provide innovative solutions to problems while fostering an environment of empathy and collaboration.
She has the innate ability to connect with others in a way that fosters honest conversations leading to greater self awareness and understanding of others. It has been said that the greatest distance between two people is misunderstanding. It is Jovon's mission to change that - one leader, one team, and one organization at a time.
Summer Swafford
Summer is the Owner of SummerSaid and has been a remote professional since 2020. She is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems as well as a M.S. in Respiratory Care from Rush University.
With almost 20 years of supporting executive level leaders in the nonprofit and higher education space at Tulane University, Georgia State University, Xavier University of Louisiana, Teach for America, and Volunteers of America Southeast Lousiana. Summer has leveraged her professional experience and her love for technology to serve her clients initially as a Tech Virtual Assistant and pivoted to a Remote Project Manager and Trainer. She started SummerSaid to share her project management expertise and also began to work with consultants and corporate leaders to professionally develop their assistants through her program The A.T.O.M.I.C. Assistant Accelerator.
Summer is SHRM certified, a Licensed Life, Health and Accident Insurance Agent, and a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Summer focuses on the behind the scenes of business operations and administration to improve workflow efficiency, elevate the client experience, and bring calm to the chaos of operational dysfunction.
